How do I enable ticketing?
Two steps from your studio space: accept the DanceConnect commission, then connect your Stripe payment account to receive payments.
Updated on September 29, 2026
Ticketing lets you sell your classes and events online: the dancer pays when booking, and the money is paid out to you. You enable it once for the whole studio, from your studio space on the website.
Who can enable it
Only the studio owner or an administrator can enable ticketing. Other team members see a message reminding them that only the owner or an administrator can enable it.
The two steps
- In your studio space, find the Enable ticketing block (in the left-hand menu) and click Enable.
- Read the DanceConnect commission shown: its amount per booking paid online, and who pays it depending on what you sell. Tick “I accept this commission and the terms of sale”.
- Click Continue to Stripe and fill in Stripe's form. Stripe is the provider that collects the dancers' payments and pays them out to you.
- At the end of the form, Stripe takes you back to your studio space, which shows you the status of your account.
You can stop between the two steps: the commission stays accepted, and all you will have left to do is connect your Stripe account.
The status of your Stripe account
When you come back from Stripe, a message shows the status of your account:
- Finish your Stripe setup: the form isn't complete. Click Resume on Stripe to pick up where you left off.
- Additional information required: Stripe needs more details. Resume on Stripe to provide them.
- Verification in progress: Stripe is verifying your information. There's nothing for you to do, ticketing turns on automatically once it's approved.
- The Stripe link has expired: simply resume the setup with Resume on Stripe.
- Payment account restricted: Stripe has restricted your account. Contact support to get it unblocked.
Once ticketing is enabled
The message “Your ticketing is now active” appears. You can then put your classes on sale from the Planning (Schedule) tab, and your events from their creation or edit window. The Tarifs (Pricing) tab also appears in the menu, to create your single-class prices, class passes and subscriptions.
If the commission changes
If DanceConnect changes its commission, your studio space lets you know and asks you to accept the new commission to keep selling online. Sales already open keep the commission in force when they were put on sale.
